Institute for Wood Science, University of Hamburg, Germany

The Institute of Wood Science (IHW) is one of four institutes in the Department of Biology at the University of Hamburg and combines approaches from economics, engineering and the natural sciences to develop sustainable practices for the use of natural, renewable, raw wood material in the production of innovative materials and bioenergy.
