Helmut Gnaegi
Helmut, research director of Diatome, co-founded the company in 1970, and is internationally renowned as the leading expert on diamond knives for ultramicrotomy. He has collaborated with Nobel laureate J. Dubochet and is a co-author of over 30 scientific publications on ultramicrotomy in Materials Research and Biology. Helmut was elected a fellow of the US Society for Microscopy in 2016.
