Luigi Fontana , Prof., MD, PhD

Prof. Luigi Fontana, MD, PhD works in the Department of Ophthalmology at the IRCCS Policlinico Sant'Orsola Malpighi of the University of Bologna in Italy. He is also head of the ophthalmology residency program there. Prof. Fontana has focused for more than 20 years on the treatment of complex diseases of the anterior segment of the eye, including corneal, ocular surface, cataract and glaucoma procedures.

Prof. Fontana uses the Proveo 8 with EnFocus intraoperative OCT for his corneal surgery.
