Chi-Chou Huang , M.Sc.

Chi-Chou Huang is an Applications Software Manager at Leica Microsystems, where he leads the algorithm and technology development for the Leica Aivia software products. Chi-Chou has over twenty years of experience in developing machine learning, image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition software for bioscience and industrial applications. Prior to joining Leica in 2021 through Leica’s acquisition of the Aivia software products from SVision, Chi-Chou held the same position at SVision leading and managing a high-impact algorithm team to implement innovative technologies for engineering and research projects. Chi-Chou holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and he is a co-inventor of eight US patents. His hobby is playing badminton and gardening.
