Markus Auernhammer

Markus Auernhammer studied mineralogy and crystallography at the universities of Würzburg and Vienna, followed some time spent in research in materials sciences at ETH Zurich. After several years in the strategic planning department of an airline, he headed the metallographic QC laboratory of a Swiss steel manufacturer for five years. He furthered his professional experience as an expert at a construction material testing institute. A part-time postgraduate course in automation and management at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland complemented his scientific background. Since 2012, he has been working for Leica Microsystems as an Advanced Workflow Specialist in Applied Microscopy DACH Sales.
