André Maia , Dr.

Dr. Maia graduated in Medicine at the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP (1992), Specialization in Ophthalmology (1996) and PhD in Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (2003) by the same institution. He completed the Subspecialization in Clinical and Surgical Retina at McGill University (Montreal - Canada) in 2000 and was Head of the Retina and Vitreous Sector at UNIFESP from 2012 to 2016. He is currently the owner of the Retina Clinic (2000) and Program Coordinator of the Fellowship in Retina and Vitreous of this institution since 2011.
